Florence Kaleiohi Navas, 78, of Anahola passed away on May 10, 2018.
She was born on Jan. 7, 1940, in Lihue, Kauai, retired as a housekeeper.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Navas; parents, George Kaleiohi Sr. and Hannah Kaleiohi.
She is survived by her children, Hannah Akau, Stanley Akau and Charlene Akau; step-children, Joann, Renee, Elizabeth, Joseph and Bernadette; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther (Vic) Pezario and Elaine Fernandez; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Anahola Koolau Huiia Church from 9 to 10 a.m. and services to follow.
Koon Chow Lai
Koon Chow Lai, 93 years old of Kapaa, Kauai, passed away on May 8, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Born on July 16, 1924, in Hawaii
He is preceded in death by his parents, Yun and Ethel Lai.
He is survived by his brothers, Clifford Lai Richard (Harreit) Lai; sisters, Beatrice Lum, Elsie (Walter) Choy, Sophie Fijinaga, Ruby (Harold) Wong, Katherine (George) Nakamoto; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.
Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary assisted the family with arraignments.
