Authorities abandon ‘zero-tolerance’ for immigrant families

RENO, Nevada — The nation’s top border enforcement official acknowledged Monday that authorities have abandoned, for now, the Trump administration’s “zero-tolerance” policy toward immigrant families after the president ordered an end to the separation of parents and children who cross the southern border.
