KAPAA — Application deadline for the Kapaa High School Foundation golf tournament is June 13 for the tournament that will play on June 23 at the Wailua Golf Course.
The Kapaa High School Foundation is asking for help from community organizations, Kapaa High School alumni, and community individuals for its fundraising efforts that have set a goal of $50,000.
“Donations will assist to make important programs and services available to the students and faculty of Kapaa High School,” said Art Fujita, president of the Kapaa High School Foundation. “Some of these programs include student grants, Project Grad, Outstanding Educator Awards, athletic programs, and more. All of the contributions support the students, educators, and school events.”
The golf tournament plays to a three-person modified scramble format with check-ins taking place at 6 a.m. and a shotgun start at 7 a.m.
Entry fees include green fees, golf cart, and the luncheon at the Kapaa Hongwanji Mission social hall following play
Prizes will be awarded for first, fifth, 10th, 15th, and 20th net team scores. There will be lots of door prizes as well.
