Please look into covering the exposed sprinkler system on the Historic County Building lawn with a cap.
The water valve’s box cover was located by staff and replaced back onto the box.
Please look into having the abandoned/derelict vehicles in Laukona Park removed.
Parks rangers have investigated your request and the appropriate response to the Kauai Police Department (KPD) for removal has been made. KPD is the lead agency when derelict cars are on county property.
Kealia
The guardrail along Kealia Beach Park is rusting and the gutters have been blocked from runoff caused by recent rains. Please look into replacing the rusted guardrail and clearing the gutters at the beach park.
Per staff, the guardrails surrounding Kealia Beach Park are on state property. State of Hawaii District Engineer Larry Dill has been notified to investigate your claim.
