Juanita Amoroso Agu
Juanita Amoroso Agu, 83, of Kaneohe, Oahu, passed away on March 3, 2018, at Aloha Nursing and Rehab Centre in Kaneohe.
She was born in Koloa on May 15, 1934, and was retired from PMRF as a gas station attendant.
She was preceded in death by husband Tiburcio Agu, parents Vincente and Marcela Amoroso, brother Frank Amorozo, and brothers-in-law Eduardo Malapit and Larry Phillips.
She is survived by daughter Renita (Keith) Yoshikawa of Kailua, Oahu, sons Vernon Agu of Oklahoma City, Dominic (Wendy) Agu of Hanapepe, Benedict (Jackie) Agu of Eleele, brother William (Mitronia) Amoroso of Oahu, sisters Elizabeth Malapit of Kauai and Rose Phillips of California, sister-in-law Carol Amorozo of Oahu, grandchildren Vincent (Becky Haines) Hill, Ryan (Clente) Takiguchi, Robert (Amnesty Taylor) Agu, Kevin Agu, Bransen Agu, Bristy-Ann Briggs and Brycen Agu, step-grandchildren Sky (Kimo) Sakata, Carin Yoshikawa and Shawn Arrisgado, great-grandchildren Aiyden, Ivy Malia Agu-Hill, Camden, Aiden and Quinn Takiguchi, step-great-grandchildren Brooke and Hunter Sakata and Nykki Takaki, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, April 14, at St. Raphael Church in Koloa from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Hanapepe Veterans Cemetery.
The family suggests casual attire.
