Easter Sunday services

Several churches will be holding Easter Sunday sunrise services at beaches, parks and schools and early morning services.

Some of them include:

• United Christian Fellowship of Kauai, 6 a.m. Lydgate Beach Park, big pavilion. Light continental breakfast will be served.

• Ohana Christian Fellowship: 6 a.m. followed by Day of Hope, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Kapaa Beach Park. Free. Easter message, music, household items and clothing. Lunch, haircuts, keiki fun.

• Waimea United Church of Christ at the historic Old Stone Church in Waimea: 6:30 a.m. Oceanview sunrise service at parsonage.

• Calvary Chapel Lihue: 7 a.m. Nawiliwili Beach Park. Breakfast, egg hunt, beach baptisms.

• New Hope Kauai: 9:30 a.m. Kapaa High School campus. Free concert, luau and egg hunt.

• Breath of Life Ministries: 6:30 a.m. Courtyard by Marriott Kauai at Coconut Beach. Music, hula.

• Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, Kilauea: 8 and 9:30 a.m. Bring fresh flowers for the flowering of the cross before service.

• New Hope Lihue: 9 a.m. Kauai Veterans Center. Egg hunt, lunch, worship.

• Crossroads Christian Fellowship: 6:30 a.m. service at the foot of the cross. 9:30 a.m. service inside tent includes mini-drama, hula, youth dance teams. Food, fun, festivities and fellowship follow.

• Kapaa Missionary Church: 6:30 a.m. service at the beach at Castle Mokihana past the Bull Shed restaurant. 7:30 a.m. breakfast at church. 9 a.m. service in sanctuary.

• Kapaa United Church of Christ: 6:25 a.m. service at Kauai Coast Resort, Kapaa, beachside. 10 a.m. Easter Festival Worship.

• Lihue Lutheran Church: 6 a.m. service, 8 a.m Service of Light and Holy Communion. 9:15 a.m. egg hunt. 10:30 a.m. Celebration of Holy Communion.
