Charles John Wilkie
Charles John Wilkie of Kapaa passed away in Wilcox Medical Center on March 16, 2018, at the age of 66. He was born on Oahu on Oct. 4, 1951, and retired from Wilcox Medical Center as a maintenance man.
He is survived by son Wesley Wilkie, daughter Jillian Wilkie, and sister Sue (Gunnar) Askeland.
Private services will be held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Yoshinobu Oshiro
Yoshinobu Oshiro, 93, of Koloa, passed away on March 14, 2018, at his home.
Born on Aug. 15, 1924, in Lawai, he was a retired electronic technician. He worked overseas in Kwajalein and for Dynalectron at Makaha Ridge, Kokee.
He was preceded in death by parents Kama and Kame Oshiro, wife Mary Oshiro and five brothers.
He is survived by daughters Marylee Pemberton, Judy (Hamilton) Rodrigues, Nancy (Paul) Andrade, Marlynn Kamibayashi, Colette (Glenn) Akau and Jaeda (Curtis) Elvenia, 15 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, sister Hatsuko (Yasuo) Taba, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, March 31, at Koloa Church from 9 to 9:45 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Koloa Church cemetery. The family suggests casual attire.

Hisao Mizumura
Hisao Mizumura of Hanamaulu passed away at Wilcox Medical Center on March 6, 2018, at the age of 92. He was born in Hanamaulu on Dec. 15, 1925, and retired as a surveyor with the County of Kauai.
He is survived by wife Yayoi Mizumura, sons Val (Christa) Mizumura and Dean (Annette) Mizumura, daughter Avis (Gerald Miller) Hirahara, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sisters Mitsue Hirata and Shizue Fujioka, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held. The family requests no koden (monetary gifts). Kauai Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
