Joseph ‘Juny’ Yadao
Joseph “Juny” Yadao, 74, of Kilauea, passed away on March 11, 2018, at Straub Hospital.
He was born on July 7, 1943, in Honolulu.
He was preceded in death by parents Timoteo and Eutropia Yadao, Maria Cabacungan, Jose Villegas, brothers Bernard Yadao, Jose Yadao, Raymondo Yadao, Walter Villegas and Larry Villegas, sisters Esmenia “Essie” Belmonte and Christina “Katy” Constantino.
He is survived by wife Theresa (Villanueva) Yadao of Kilauea, daughter Lauralee Yadao (Daniel La‘a) of Kilauea, son Jacob Yadao of Kilauea, grandson Dawson Fo, stepmother Helen Villegas of Oahu, brothers Patrick Villegas of Oahu, Doug Villegas of Oahu, Joey Villegas of Texas, sisters Josephine Asuncion of Kilauea, Francis (Modesto) Bilog of California, Mary Lee of Texas, Lora Villegas of Oahu, Patricia Villegas of Georgia, Casey Villegas of Oahu and Betty Johnson of Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, hanai children and grandchildren and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 7, at St. Sylvester Church in Kilauea, with visitation from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. A scattering of ashes will be held on Sunday, April 8, at 11 a.m. at Anini Beach Park.
The family requests casual attire.
John Joseph Parziale
John Joseph Parziale of Massachusetts and part-time resident of Kilauea passed away in Wilcox Medical Center on Mach 16, 2018, at the age of 71. He was born in Massachusetts on Jan. 4, 1947, and was a retired school teacher.
He is survived by wife Cheryl Parziale, sons John (Ann) Parziale of Moloaa and James (Cierra) Parziale of Massachusetts, daughters Jennifer Parziale and Jill (Brian) Antos of Massachusetts, nine grandchildren, brother Vincent Parziale, sister Rita (Al) Hoey, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in Massachusetts.
Kauai Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Bennett Naholoholo Sr.
Bennett Naholoholo Sr., 85, of Waimea, passed away on March 19, 2018, at Kauai Care Center.
Born on June 27, 1932 in Waimea, he was a retired mechanic.
He was preceded in death by wife Barbara K. Naholoholo, and parents Joseph K. (Julia E. Kamai) Naholoholo Sr.
He is survived by sons Bennett Naholoholo Jr. of Oahu and Bobby Wade “Umpa” Naholoholo of Waimea, daughters Bernett “Nani” Schmidt of Hanapepe, Bernal “Googoo” Naholoholo of Lawai, eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, brother Maurice (Deborah) Naholoholo of Arizona, sister Dahlia Kamalani of Anahola, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, April 7, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Kekaha Ward from 9 to 10:15 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery.
The family suggests casual attire.

Loreta Garcia Mones
Loreta Garcia Mones of Puhi passed away in Garden Isle Health Care on March 12, 2018, at the age of 85. She was born in San Carlos, Pangasinan, Philippines, on Feb. 12, 1933, and retired from Snow White Laundry.
She is survived by husband Benjamin Mones Sr., of Puhi, children Myrna (Ernesto) Belmonte of California, Jimmy Mones, Benjamin (Elena) Mones Jr., Leo (Daisy) Mones and Melandro (Alegria) Mones, all of Kauai, 13 grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 7, at Immaculate Conception Church, with viewing from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
