Kapaa
Please provide an update on any improvements to Malu Road in Kapaa. Safety concerns including the lack of guardrails on this road and no centerline striping have been concerns raised by the public in recent years.
The county does not have any immediate plans to place guardrails along this road.
Wailua
Please provide an update on the efforts being made to mitigate the noxious odors emanating from the Coco Palms wastewater substation.
The Public Wastewater Division has recently installed manhole odor control units on two manholes and will be installing another four in the next few weeks. Wastewater officials have been in ongoing communication with neighboring property owners who have relayed a noticeable difference since these units were installed.
