Anna Piedad Pascual
Anna Piedad Pascual, 91, of Hanamaulu, passed away on Jan. 30, 2018, at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital. Born on May 12, 1926 in Eleele, she retired as a field worker with McBryde Sugar Company.
She was preceded in death by parents Flora Carmen and Hipolito Piedad, and her loving husband Honorio Pascual.
She is survived by sons Edmund (Cora) Pascual and Ruven (Stacy) Pascual, daughters Fely (Ruben) Lagundino, Delia (Henry) Bumagat and Josie (Jaime) Pablo, grandchildren Ferdinand Lagundino Jr., Sunshine Badua, Ourigner Lagundino, Melissa Pascual, David Lagundino, Leah Gaines, Kathleen Agena, Nathan Lagundino, Joshua Lagundino, Ryan Pascual, Veronica Pablo, Harold Bumagat, Daniel Bumagat, Chanelle Pascual, Maegan Pablo and Keegan Pascual, and 25 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 16, at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 5 p.m., with services at 6:30 p.m., and again on Saturday, March 17, at Aloha Church Assembly of God in Lihue from 9 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Lunch will follow at Kauai Veterans Center.
The family suggests casual attire.

Loretta Therese Blackstad
Loretta Therese Blackstad, born Oct. 11, 1947, in Lihue, passed on Feb. 20, 2018, at Straub Hospital at the age of 70. She was a retired hairdresser and an office manager.
She was preceded in death by parents Manuel and Mae Andrade.
She is survived by husband Ronald A Blackstasd, sons Kevin J. (Adrianne), Kris K. and Kyle R. (Wailana), grandchildren Kira, Koby, Kelly, Kannen, Kahanu, and Wehilani, sisters Joyce (Anthony) Silva and Pat (Howard) Naleimaile, brothers Manuel (Phyllis) and Michael (Sherry) Andrade, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 17, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo, with visitation from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and church service to follow.
The family requests casual attire, welcomes flowers and lei, but requests that wreaths be omitted.
Kelly James Kunio Francisco
Kelly James Kunio Francisco, 46, of Waimea, passed away on March 9, 2018 in Waimea.
Born on June 14, 1971, he was a mason.
He is survived by sons Kelson-Jay Francisco of Waimea and Tayedyn Francisco of Kalaheo, daughters Karilynn “Keiko” Francisco of Waimea and Naomi Francisco of Waimea, brother Calvin (Sharon) Francisco of Wailua, sisters Colleen Francisco of Colorado and Faith (Darrell) Francisco of Hanamaulu, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held on April 21, at Lydgate Beach Park small pavilion from 10 to 11 a.m., where a celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire.

John Robert Martin, 99, of Kilauea, passed away on March 2, 2018, at his home.
He was born on Aug. 9, 1918, in Iowa.
Private services will be held on a later date.
