Speaking Wednesday at a Boeing factory in St. Louis with two fighter jets as his backdrop, Trump celebrated the impact of last year’s tax cut bill.
Trump says he is working with Congress on a second package that would deliver new benefits for companies and the middle class.
It’s unclear what Trump is talking about. The White House didn’t immediately respond to a request for details.
The chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Republican congressman Kevin Brady, tells Fox Business Network he is indeed working on something with the president and “we think even more can be done.”
