Licia McDonald was hosting call for entries for the Kauai Society of Artists’ Membership Show which opens Saturday — Eve Solomon said instead of an opening reception, there will be a closing reception on April 7.
Beau ended the day as part of the Grove Farm Company during the circus-themed (you should’ve seen the Enterprise Rent a Car group!) bowling fundraiser for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kauai (great job, Kaulana Finn, Dennis Brown and Big Brothers Big Sisters board!).
Stephen Fujii (Sylvia was turning in artwork for the KSA show) was helping the Kauai Bonsai Club before heading out to his Senior Softball game, and kudos to Pearl and Gloria Shimizu and all the Kauai Japanese Cultural Society on a great event celebrating the children of Kauai.
Kudos to Elsie Bayot and Josie Pablo for being able to get the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital residents (Josie said KVMH residents never experienced this event until Saturday) out for the event, joining the Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital residents, where Bev Pang even found a table for Anita and William Kaneakua close to the Kauai Bonsai Club.
