WAIPOULI – The public is advised of a wastewater spill that occurred around 9:45 a.m. today on Kūhiō Highway, near the Ala Road intersection in Waipouli.
WAIPOULI – The public is advised of a wastewater spill that occurred around 9:45 a.m. today on Kūhiō Highway, near the Ala Road intersection in Waipouli.
The spill occurred due to a failed valve and resulted in the overflow of approximately 400 gallons of wastewater.
The Wastewater Management Division has cleaned up the spill and will continue to monitor the area until the valve can be replaced. Officials are asking the public to avoid this area if possible.
