KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii — Authorities say a 74-year-old Hawaii man has died after severe weather blew the structure he was in off its foundation.
Hawaii Police Maj. Robert Wagner says William Ryder was found dead Monday morning on a coffee farm in Holualoa.
Wagner says the man who owns the farm discovered Ryder, who had been a seasonal coffee farm worker at that property for more than 20 years.
Police say Ryder was inside the wall-less shack when it was blown about 150 feet (46 meters) from its foundation, causing his death.
There is no suspected foul play. An autopsy was conducted and final results are pending toxicology results.
