Vance Pascua said the Ainofea pop up at The Kukui Grove Center is a break from martial arts as Rocky Pascua of peek-a-bootique was busy with the line of people looking for face painting. Kudos to Melissa McFerrin-Warrack, David Sosner and all the Kukui Grove ‘ohana (including the pop ups) on a wonderful Valentine’s Day celebration.

They’re planning another Sunday gig for Chinese New Year with Jan Woo coordinating a doggie fashion show to celebrate the Year of the Dog (which falls on Friday).
Greg Askew (mahalo for the tip on Warehouse 3540 in Lawai) has Chocolate Chinese Five Spice Ono Pops (he even had it at Warehouse 3540) to celebrate the occasion.
Shannon Hiramoto found a vintage (Florence) Kamei at the new Salvation Army Thrift Store and couldn’t believe it was discounted. Shannon also set up The Book Cart at Warehouse 3540 with a cache of books that were stored under the stage at the Kekaha Elementary School, some of which still had the borrowing cards in them.
Kudos to Koloa Elementary School teachers Chelsea Iwami and Lia Nishikura on their Urchin clothing boutique that came out on the Warehouse 3540 (check out that centerpiece hanging created from coffee filters by KUGA students) Saturday night.
Happy Valentine’s Day, Kauai!
