LIHUE — This year, Dr. Joseph Chu and Kauai Endodontics got help from Patterson Dental to provide free dental care goodie bags Tuesday at the Lihue office.
LIHUE — This year, Dr. Joseph Chu and Kauai Endodontics got help from Patterson Dental to provide free dental care goodie bags Tuesday at the Lihue office.
“Patterson Dental joined the fun this year,” Chu said. “With their help, we could provide dental goodie bags, including toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other items for good dental health to all of our patients.”
Chu, who maintains his Kauai Endodontics office on Kukui Grove Street, surprised his Tuesday appointments with free dental care to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
He started this tradition eight years ago, offering his patients free care because he wants to see them smile on the day celebrating love.
This practice follows in the footsteps of Dr. Greg Naganuma who, in combination with several other medical professionals, offered a free, no-appointment dental care day ahead of the holidays so people could enjoy the holiday feasts.
Chu was appreciative of the growing support for his free dental service gesture.
