Bernard James Rita Jr.
Bernard James Rita Jr. of Lihue passed away in Wilcox Medical Center on Jan. 6, 2018, at the age of 34. He was born in Waimea on May 3, 1983, and was an entrepreneur of BJ Mobile Fab & Services.
He was preceded in death by father Bernard James Rita Sr.
He is survived by mother Doreen Higashi, son Dayton Rita, daughters Kina Rita, Kaylee Rita and Kaimahela Rita-Kalani, sisters Natasha Rita, Malia Rita and April Rita, brother Isaiah Carvalho, grandfather Robert Sueo Higashi, and numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, at Kalapaki Park, beginning at 10 a.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
