Catherine Camara Costa
Catherine Camara Costa of Lihue passed away at Garden Isle Health Care on Jan. 18, 2018, at the age of 82. She was born in Lihue on Nov. 7, 1935, and was a Child Care provider.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Costa Sr.
Catherine is survived by three children, Doreen (Glen) Owen of Las Vegas, Darlene (Milton) Yamase of Waimea, Richard (Verna) Costa Jr. of Kapaa; two granddaughters, Rebecca Owen of Las Vegas, Jillian Yamase of Seattle; two sisters, Daisy Griffin of Oahu; Elsie Tom of Hawaii Island; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Church with visitation from 9 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
