LIHUE — Three federal agency assistance sessions will offer Kauai constituents the opportunity to get individual assistance with federal agency matters.
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard’s Kauai Outreach Liaison, Kaulana Finn, will be available for one-on-one federal casework assistance during the sessions. Finn can assist Kauai residents with veteran benefits, Social Security and Medicare claims, passports and visas, federal student loans, and much more.
“When (veterans) come home, they face challenges themselves,” Gabbard said. “Our nation owes a debt of gratitude to them to make sure they are taken care of, that they are served, that they get the benefits that they’ve earned through their service to our country.”
The first one-on-one federal agency assistance session will take place Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Kauai Veterans Center in Lihue at 3215 Kapule Highway.
A second casework assistance session will be held on Feb. 15 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Little Fish Coffee Company in Hanapepe, 3900 Hanapepe Road.
The third opportunity will be March 22 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Little Fish Coffee Company in Koloa, 2290 Poipu Road.
