Eduardo Daligcon
Eduardo Daligcon, 64, of Eleele, passed away on Dec. 18, 2017, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital.
Born on Jan. 24, 1953 in the Philippines, he was a steward at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort &Spa.
He is survived by wife Venus Daligcon, children Leilani (Owen) Daligcon Tudela, Edward Daligcon, Edwin Daligcon, Ella Aban, Phil (Vanessa) Ramirez and Gameel Ramirez, five grandchildren, mother Victoria Daligcon, siblings Gloria (Fernando) Mariano, Adriano (Norma) Daligcon, Antonio (Reynalda) Daligcon, Danilo Daligcon and Guillermo (Dona) Daligcon, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Jan. 19, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Lihue Cemetery.
The family suggests casual attire.

Roger Kenneth Dean
Roger Kenneth Dean of Kapaa passed away Dec. 27, 2017, at Wilcox Medical Center, at the age of 79. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Dec. 15, 1938, and was a commercial artist, and entrepreneur of Dean &Associates.
He is survived by children Amanda (Michael) Vignery, Roger (Lorena Serrano) Dean and Leslie (Rodney) Martinm, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be announced at a later date.

May Shizuko Gonsalves
May Shizuko Gonsalves of Anahola passed away at home on Dec. 28, 2017, at the age of 82. She was born on Molokai on May 31, 1935, and retired from Good Samaritan Pohai Nani Retirement Community in Kaneohe as a housekeeping assistant.
She was preceded in death by husband George Gonsalves, parents Kiichi and Mitsue Takahashi, and grandson Jason Gonsalves.
She is survived by children Lillian Kekahu, Elaine (Sol) Santos, George (Susan) Gonsalves Jr., John Gonsalves, James (Sharon) Gonsalves, David (Tammy) Gonsalves, Debra (Mark) Gonsalves, William Gonsalves and Linda (Earrick) Cooper, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous siblings, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date.

Darlene Jane Rapozo
Darlene Jane Rapozo, 59, of Pakala, died on Dec. 24, 2017, in Kekaha. She was born on Nov. 1, 1958 in Waimea, to Adam and Katherine Rapozo.
She was preceded in death by son Jon Togioka.
She is survived by daughters Leola Togioka and Tara Martin, son Micah Togioka, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services open to friends and family will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20, at Kauai Bible Church, 2-4131 Kaumualii Hwy., Koloa, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Laureano ‘Larry’ Corpuz
Laureano “Larry” Corpuz of Castle Rock, Colorado, an Army veteran and retired mechanic for McBryde Sugar Co., was born on April 16, 1938, in Koloa, and passed away at his residence on Dec. 6, 2017, at the age of 79.
He is survived by wife Estrella Corpuz, sons Patrick Corpuz and Scott Corpuz, granddaughter Bailey Corpuz, brothers Jay Dela Cruz of Seal Beach, California, and Peter Corpuz of Cerritos, California, and sister Josephine Gerardo of Mililani, Oahu.
Memorial services will be held at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe on Saturday, Jan. 13. Visitation with the family will be at 9:30 a.m. with service to follow. Military honors will begin at 11:30 a.m.
