LIHUE — The Eighth annual Kauai Klassics, a fundraiser for Kauai United Way, is scheduled Jan. 5 at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church.
Musicians from the Baltimore Symphony, San Francisco Ballet and Opera and more will be performing pieces by composers including Clara Schumann, Chopin, Ravel, Piazzola and Rachmaninoff.
The concert presented by Personal Financial is set for 6:30. It is described as “word-class chamber music” in an intimate setting.
There are two ticket options:
• Patron $25, including one donation drawing ticket
• Donor $75, including three donation drawing tickets, a pre-concert reception at 5 p.m. with pupus by Mark Oyama, wine, entertainment and preferred seating.
There will also be prize drawing and auctions.
