Gary Michael Benoit
Gary Michael Benoit passed away on Oct. 7, 2017. He was born on Jan. 24, 1947, in Milford, Connecticut.
He leaves behind his significant other of 17 years, June Deluca, son Gifford and wife Alexis, grandsons Chase and Makai, sisters Sharon of North Carolina and Debbie of Texas, nieces Maile and Sadie of New York City, and nephew David of Richmond, Virginia.
Mary Kealoha
Mary Kealoha of Honolulu passed away on Oct. 7, 2017, at her home. She was born on Jan. 10, 1958, on Kauai. She was preceded in death by father Alfred Medeiros, mother Lillian Santos Perreira, stepfather John Perreira and sister Louise Medeiros.
She is survived by son Shaun (Jennifer) Kealoha, daughter Roxann Kealoha, granddaughters Erin, Erika and Emilee Paikai, brothers John Perreira Jr., Alfred (Helen) Medeiros, Wayne (Shirly) Medeiros, sisters Brenda (Butch) Durant, Elaine (Squeaky) Kealoha, Eleanor (Guy Menor) Haumea, Clara (Mel) Leasau, Donna Medeiros and Lillian (Bart) Thomas, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services over her ashes will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at St. Raphael Church in Koloa, with visitation from 8:30 to 9:40 a.m. and Mass to follow.
Borthwick Mortuary of Honolulu assisted the family with arrangements.
Toshie Daida
Toshie Daida, 97, of Koloa, passed away on Oct. 25, 2017, in Lihue.
Born on Jan. 2, 1920, in Japan, she retired as a seamstress.
She was preceded in death by husband Iwao Daida, parents Yashiro and Misu Oda, son Brian Daida and brother Robert Oda.
She is survived by son Gordon (Gerhild) Daida of Oahu, daughters Flora Farnbach of Oahu, Thelma (Ned Rose) Daida of Florida, Stella (John) Tippin of Oahu, Debra (Scott Yoshida) Daida of Oahu, Lonnie (Arthur) Oketani of Kauai and Annetta (Kenneth) Isakson of New Jersey, 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Hanapepe Hongwanji Temple from 10 a.m., where services will be held at 11 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted.
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Daniel Gil Renti Cruz
Daniel Gil Renti Cruz, 53, of Waianae, Oahu, passed away on Oct. 9, 2017.
He was born on June 15, 1964 in Lihue.
He was a supervisor for Kokua Villa Inc. at Waianae, a day care facility for adults with intellectual disabilities.
He was preceded in death by wife Charlotte Idao Renti Cruz and father Dr. William A. Renti Cruz.
He is survived by mother Ercelly S. Renti Cruz, sisters Diana Honjiyo and Dena M. Renti Cruz, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary in Honolulu and Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with the arrangements.
Nobue Yasutake Igarashi
Nobue Yasutake Igarashi of Lihue passed away in Wilcox Medical Center on Nov. 1, 2017, at the age of 87. She was born on Kauai on Nov. 7, 1929, and retired as a customer service representative with First Interstate Bank.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Susumu Yasutake and Shoichi Igarashi, and parents Takeshige and Chiyo Muneno.
She is survived by children Beverly (Michael) Nagano of Lihue, Valerie (Alan) Silva of Lihue, Lana Corregedore of Lihue, Lee Yasutake of Lihue, Daryl (Jacqueline) Yasutake of Kapaa, Dewey (Saowapha) Yasutake of Oahu, Lisa (Warren) Koga of Lihue, daughter-in-law Sherri Yasutake, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, sister Shinae (Roy) Sakai of Oahu, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Lihue Baptist Church, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. and services beginning at 10:30 a.m. The family suggests casual attire and graciously declines flowers.
Private inurnment services will be held at Kauai Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

Evelyn Ohai Fernandes
Evelyn Ohai Fernandes, 90, of Kapaa, passed away on Oct. 19, 2017, at Wilcox Medical Center.
Born on June 5, 1927 in Kapaa, she was a retired teacher with KEO Head Start Preschool.
She was preceded in death by husband, former state Sen. William “Billy” Fernandes.
She is survived by daughters Maile Fernandes, Lehua Fernandes-Salling and Napua (Wayne) Law, son Kimo (Stephanie) Fernandes, 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, brother Reynolds Ohai, sister Alicia Tanigawa, sisters-in-law Pauline Fernandes and Wella Fernandes, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kapaa from 10:30 to 11 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
The family suggests casual attire.

Ann Millison Luckett
Ann Millison Luckett, 78, passed away on Oct. 13, 2017, at her daughter’s home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born May 30, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by daughter Alexa Maxine Luckett, father Clark Millison and mother Maxine Millison.
She is survived by daughters Laura (Jim) Luckett-Shwerin of Colorado and Erika (Lisa) Luckett of Ohio, sons Marc (Whitney) Luckett of Colorado and Palo (Emma) Luckett of Anahola, and grandchildren Maxine, AnaMai, Holland, Enzo and Britton of Colorado.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Nov. 9, at Kilauea Parish Hall. The memorial service is from 3 to 4 p.m.
The family sugests aloha attire.
Rogelio Javier Domingo
Rogelio Javier Domingo of Waialeale Estates passed away in Wilcox Medical Center on Nov. 5, 2017, at the age of 69. He was born in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on Oct. 24, 1948, and was employed by Island Yard Services as a landscaper.
He was preceded in death by parents Eulogio and Segunda Domingo.
He is survived by wife Marina Domingo of Waialeale Estates, daughter Jona (Chris) Guerin of Kapaa, sons Emerson (Mary Grace) Domingo of the Philippines and Edison (Armina) Domingo of Singapore, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, brothers Antonio (Jovita) Domingo of Oahu and Herminigildo Domingo of Philippines, sisters Maria (Thomas) Agustin of the Philippines, Corazon (Ernesto) Orbeta of Oahu, Benita Clemente of the Philippines, Lucia (Ador) Abella of the Philippines and Mennie (Frank) Green of Kapaa, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Immaculate Conception Church, with viewing from 8 to 9:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m., with cremation to follow.

Harvey Steven Garcia
Harvey Steven Garcia, 76, of Lawai, passed away on Nov. 3, 2017, at Wilcox Medical Center.
Born on Aug. 8, 1941 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, he was retired from the U.S. Air Force as a radar technician, and from the Air National Guard. He also was the founder and owner of Harvey’s Flooring.
He was preceded in death by wife Priscilla Garcia, parents Louis and Beatrice Garcia, son John Carvalho Garcia, and stepson Matthew Sakichi-Iwatate.
He is survived by wife Elsie Dusenberry Garcia of Lawai, sons Nelson (Margaret) Garcia of Omao, Leroy (Leimomi) Garcia of Omao and Russell (Cynthia) Garcia of Omao, hanai daughter Yasha (Marvin) Daoana of Omao, stepsons Nikola (Claudia) Nishi of Waimea, Pete Nishi of Oahu and Richard Iwatate of Makaweli, stepdaughters Donna (Mark Zenger) Richards of Lawai, Ama Nishi of Les Vegas, Marcella (Eric) Melchow of Las Vegas and Shamira Nitsche of Hanapepe, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Nov. 17, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
