Hawaiian Airlines parent company Hawaiian Holdings reported net income of $74.6 million for the third quarter of 2017, down from $102.5 million for the same quarter last year.
“The third quarter’s excellent results add to the great year we are having,” Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian Airlines president and CEO, said in a press release.
The company released its earnings report on Thursday.
Hawaiian reported operating revenue of $719.6 million for the third quarter, up 7.1 percent from the third quarter of 2016.
It reported operating expenses of $545.8 million, up 10.7 percent from the same quarter last year.
Through September of 2017 Hawaiian reported operating revenue of $2 billion, and operating expenses of $1.6 billion.
