LIHUE — The Department of Taxation’s 2017 Tax Workshops will be held across the state beginning on Oct. 24 at Kauai Community College.
This year’s workshop topics include an update on the 2017 legislative session and administrative rules, a presentation on where the state’s money comes from, and an online demonstration for verified practitioners.
“The Department is excited to present its annual tax workshop and welcomes the tax community to attend,” said Maria Zielinski, Director of Taxation. “These workshops provide the Department with an opportunity to engage with and hear from the tax community.”
All workshops will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with registration starting at 8 a.m. The fee is $90 for individuals who submit their registration and payment by the registration deadline. Late registration is $110. Walk-in registrations will be accepted at the door. The fee includes a continental breakfast, workshop materials, and three hours of Hawaii Board of Public Accountancy Continuing Professional Education credit.
