LIHUE — The Kauai Open, part of the Hawaii Triple Crown of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, is set for Saturday at Kauai High School.
The competition will be the ninth event of 2017 for the promotion and the second on Kauai, said coordinator Romolo Barros.
Register at www.hawaiitriplecrown.com through midnight tonight. Registration will also be open on site the morning of the event.
Fees is $90 for adults and $70 for keiki. An additional $10 will also be charged for each division entered.
Tickets will be sold at the gate. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids 6 and younger. Competition starts at 10 a.m.
The Kauai Open precedes the Aloha State Championship 2017, which is scheduled for Nov. 19 at Kaiser High School in Honolulu.
