Michelle Young of the Waimea Public Library said “Ouch!”, the Honolulu Theater for Youth 30-minute production (it’s suitable for ages 2 and up), starts at 5 p.m. today (lots of time to get stuff from Ishihara Market afterwards). And, if you can’t make it, “Ouch!” moves to the Princeville Public Library on Tuesday from 2 p.m. And it’s free!
John McClure said Daphne is traveling in Japan (ran out of Moloaa Bay Coffee and Chocolate samples, too!). He’s back here because he’s doing the Coffee and Chocolate Festival (Greg Askew of Ono Pops said he’s got two flavors — Kauai coffee and cream and chocolate apple banana), which starts Friday in Hanapepe, tying in with the Friday Night Art and the Princess Ka‘iulani festivities.
Uncle John Kaneholani said he missed the game Saturday because he was stuck in the kitchen making food for the Kapaa and Waimea high school football game. The $1 hot dog after-game special was a good deal, and Coach Evan Costa of the Kapaa girls volleyball team was recovering from their long and exciting Friday night win over Kauai High School. Next stop for the Warrior wahine is Tuesday at the Clem Gomes Gym for the playoff with first-round champ Waimea.
Don’t forget the free Family Fall Festival coming up Sunday at the Waimea Athletic Field with a lot of pumpkins available. It’s free, too!
