WAILUA — Two separate lane closures will take place this week. On Thursday and Friday, road closures in the vicinity of the Kuhio Highway and Haleilio Road intersection will allow the Wastewater Management Division to perform inspection and maintenance work
WAILUA — Two separate lane closures will take place this week. On Thursday and Friday, road closures in the vicinity of the Kuhio Highway and Haleilio Road intersection will allow the Wastewater Management Division to perform inspection and maintenance work on its sewer collection system.
The lane closures in the areas of Kuhio Highway and Haleilio Road are as follows:
• The outermost northbound lane of Kuhio Highway, near the Haleilio Road intersection, will be closed from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Thursday. Access to Papaloa Road from Kuhio Highway will also be closed. Papaloa Road can be accessed from Lanikai Street.
• The southbound right-turn lane on Haleilio Road, at the intersection of Kuhio Highway, will be closed from 11:30 p.m. on Thursday to 1 a.m. on Friday. During this time, motorists may use the left-turn lane on Haleilio Road to make a right turn onto Kuhio Highway.
