ATHENS, Greece (AP) — PAOK beat Lamia 4-0 Sunday to displace AEK at the top of the Greek league.
Aleksandar Prijovic scored twice for the hosts, in the 24th and 88th minutes. Marin Leovac had opened the scoring in the 10th and Dimitris Pelkas added another in the 50th.
Lamia’s Nikos Anastassopoulos was dismissed in the 71st with a second yellow card, 16 minutes after coming on.
AEK’s 88th-minute goal snatched a 1-1 draw at nine-man Xanthi and avoided an embarrassing defeat against a team that had two players dismissed in the 55th and 72nd.
PAOK is a point ahead of AEK and two ahead of Levadiakos — a 1-0 winner at Panetolikos — and Atromitos.
Also Sunday, Apollon vs. Kerkyra ended in a scoreless draw.
