TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Democrat Phil Murphy has raised roughly three times more cash than Republican Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno in the race to succeed Chris Christie.
The Election Law Enforcement Commission said Thursday that Murphy has raised $10.3 million so far to Guadagno’s $3 million.
Murphy has spent about $5 million so far while Guadagno has doled out $2 million. Murphy has more than $5 million in reserves, while Guadagno has less than $1 million.
Murphy leads Guadagno in polls ahead of the Nov. 7 election.
Christie, a Republican, is term limited.
