KAPAA — “Drug Addiction 101,” a community meeting, will be held at Kapaa Missionary Church from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Gina Kaulukukui, program director for Life’s Bridges Hawaii, will present information about services on how to deal with crisis situations and share updated information about suicide and how it impacts the community.
Maile Murray, prevention coordinator with Life’s Choices Kauai, will give a presentation on “Coalition Building.”
The meeting provides the community an opportunity to share personal experiences with others, while gaining insight on the issue of substance abuse.
The meeting is hosted by the Mayor’s Advisory Committee for Treatment and Community Integration.
