Patricia Ann Bell
Patricia Ann Bell of Kapaa passed away at home on Aug. 17, 2017, at the age of 79. She was born in New York on March 5, 1938, and retired as an Office Administrator with ABC Unified School District.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Bell; parents, Ralph and Ann Wilson and brother, Paul Wilson.
Patricia is survived by sons, Tim Bell and Mark Bell; daughters, Marianne Cain and Pamela Corwin; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Pamela Morris; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held.

Patrick W.Y. Apilado, Jr., 50 years old of Waimea, Kauai passed away on Sept. 13, 2017, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 26, 1967, in Waimea, Kauai.
He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick W.Y. Apilado, Sr.; grandfather, Pat Faustino Apilado.
He is survived by his son, Tino Apilado; daughter, Shelbi Shimazu; mothers, Lili Neubig and Carol Apilado; grandmother, Soon Ne Apilado; brothers, John Oliver, Paul Apilado, Michael Apilada, Jason Apilado, Thomas Apilado, Timothy Apilado, Vance Simao; sisters, Alice (Junior) Angala, Peggy (Zeal) Castillo; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at Waimea Baptist Church from 9:30 a.m. Services will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.

Janet Kikue Yaguchi, 101 years old of Lihue, Kauai passed away on Sept.1, 2017, in Lihue, Kauai. She was born on March 20, 1916, in Koloa, Kauai.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hideo “Pop” Yaguchi; son, Wayne Yaguchi, parents Zenkichi (Oichi) Tanimoto.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Clifton (Jeanne) Yaguchi of Pearl City, Paul Yaguchi of Koloa; daughters, Judy (David) Gitt of Nebraska, Wendy (Ainsley) Waiwaiole of Lihue; daughter in law, Edna Yaguchi of Honolulu; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Dorothy Higuchi of Lihue and Iris (George) Spade of Colorado.

Mervin William ‘Buddy’ Kanoa
Mervin William “Buddy” Kanoa, 86 years old passed away on Sept. 21, 2017, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born on Nov. 23, 1930, in Kekaha, Kauai. He was a retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator with the County of Kauai Landfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Julia Kanoa; brothers, Joseph and Neill Kanoa; sister, Ellen “Daling” Young.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy Ruiz Kanoa; son, Roderick (Ruth) Kanoa of Kekaha; daughters, Paulette Kanoa of Nevada, Pamela (Tom) Courtney of Kekaha; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Juliet “Tita” Aiu of Wailua and Lorraine Like of Reno; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at St. Theresa’s Church in Kekaha from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m.

Landis Fulton Ignacio, 61 years old passed away on Sept. 23, 2017, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 8, 1956, in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. Landis was a Agriculture Consultant.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joslyn Ann Ignacio; father, Frank Ignacio; mother, Mercy Costa Ignacio.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Dusenberry Ignacio of Kekaha; daughter, Sasha (Trevor) Espina-Ignacio of Kekaha, Loke (Michael Yaris) Dusenberry of Kekaha; grandchildren, Makena Espina-Ignacio of Kekaha, Mahina Espina- Ignacio of Kekaha; In laws, Franklin Douglas (Linda) Dusenberry of Waimea; brothers, Xavier (Janice) Ignacio of Hanapepe, Vance Ignacio of Kekaha; sister, Jolene (John) Gentry of Honokaa; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
