LIHUE — Kauai Visitors Bureau will be hosting its membership event on Friday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Kauai Beach Resort. It is free and open to the public.
KVB Executive Director Sue Kanoho will provide an update on KVB activities; Dirk Soma, president of Kauai Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce, will prevent KNHCC survey results; and Kalani Kaanaana, director of Hawaiian Cultural Affairs at Hawaii Tourism Authority, will give updates on HTA programs.
Updates on the Nualolo Kai Program will also be shared by Victoria Wichman, interpretative specialist and archaeologist with the state Parks Interpretive Program-Kauai.
A question and answer session will follow the presentations.
