LIHUE — Persephone and Kina are ready for the holidays, and Kuma shed his goggles because the event was indoors at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall.
Coordinated by Jan Woo of Barkaroo Bakery (Kilakila decided it was better to sit at the booth), 17 canine and 15 owners presented a variety of doggie wear ranging from whimsical to formal during the first dog fashion show which opened the Kauai Made-Kauai Grown trade fair to the general public.
Ron Wood of FM97 emceed the event where Table, the poster dog for the event, showed why he is a poster child.
Melissia Sugai of the Kauai Made program at the county’s Office of Economic Development coordinated the event designed to showcase Kauai Made and Kauai Grown products, including Value Added items, to the trade, and this year, to the general public.
