Michael Allan Splittstoesser
Michael Allan Splittstoesser of Lihue passed away in Wilcox Medical Center on Sept. 6, 2017, at the age of 49. He was born in Japan on Oct. 27, 1967, and was a commercial diver and fisherman and employed at Aloha Termite Inc.
He was preceded in death by mother Chiyako Splittstoesser.
He is survived by wife Lisa Splittstoesser and daughter Malia Splittstoesser, both of Lihue; brother Mark (Sandy) Splittstoesser of California, sister Mika (Scott) Vann of Georgia, father Norman Splittstoesser of Marshall Islands, nieces, Kayla, Eryn, Rachel and Hannah, and nephews Obed and Connor.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at Lihue Lutheran Church, beginning at 6 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Splittstoesser family with arrangements.
