LIHUE — Wilcox Medical Center has named Anne Foss-Durant as chief nurse executive. In this position, she will provide leadership and direction for patient care and nursing education.
“Our nurses are a critical and valuable part of our patient care team, and Anne’s extensive experience makes her a great resource and leader for our nursing staff,” said Jen H. Chahanovich, president and CEO of Wilcox Medical Center and CEO of Kauai Medical Clinic. “We are excited to have Anne on board and look forward to the contributions she will make to Wilcox and the Kauai community.”
Foss-Durant recently retired from Kaiser Permanente after 26 years of service.
She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from California State University–East Bay and a master’s degree in nursing from University of California, San Francisco. She also holds a master’s degree in global business from California State University–East Bay.
