The 5 p.m. start time for junior varsity stays the same, and the varsity game starts no earlier than 6:30 p.m.
Kudos to Kauai Pop Warner Football League president Teddy Arroyo and the KPWFL board on a successful Jamboree (Mel Rapozo said he wasn’t crying, he just had a bad cold when he was honored as a volunteer!) launching the 2017 tackle football and cheer season! Stuart Hollinger had his award-winning 1st Cut band playing on the mobile stage during the Labor Day Blowout (congratulations and thank you to Ellsworth Fontes of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Motorcycle Club from Hilo!) where Tina Albao (she’ll be at the Kauai High School homecoming game Friday!) spilled tears of joy over the nearly $8,000 raised by the motorcycle enthusiasts.
