Mea Ho‘omana‘o Award nominees are sought
LIHUE — The Kauai Chamber of Commerce will be presenting the 2017 Mea Ho‘omana‘o Award to recognize and honor an individual who has demonstrated the importance of aloha with respect and civility in their interactions.
Nominations for the award, themed “Aloha Begins With Me,” will be accepted until Thursday. It will be presented at the chamber’s general membership meeting on Sept. 28.
Pharmacist Kimberly Legawa will be the keynote speaker.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. in Kauai Beach Resort’s Jasmine Ballroom.
