Stephanie Barbara Campos Arthur
Stephanie Barbara Campos Arthur, of Lihue, passed away peacefully at home on Aug. 19, 2017, at the age of 67. She was born in Waimea, Kauai on Dec. 26, 1949, and was working for the SANS Institute.
She was preceded in death by father, Eusebio Campos; mother, Elena Bueno Campos Tejada Alejo; brother, Carlo Campos and sister, Rebecca Campos.
She is survived by husband, Martin “Mark” Arthur of Lihue; son, Eric Arthur of Portland, Oregon; daughter, Marj (Nicholas) Caputo of Portland, Oregon; brothers and sisters, Gerry (Ron) Snow of Valrico, Florida, Arline Nimori of Hawthorne, California, Roland (Mary) Campos of Mesa, Arizona, Edwin (Genara) Campos of Kapolei, Mels “Honey Girl” Tejada of Anahola; grandchildren, Isabel, Luke, Asher and Sam Arthur of Portland, Oregon; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service will be held at the Lawai Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Lawai on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire.

Rhondel Lee Gallion
Rhondel Lee Gallion, 52 years old of Kaawanui passed away on Aug. 22, 2017, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born on Feb. 20, 1965, in Ashland, Kentucky. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator.
He was preceded in death by father, John Gallion.
He is survived by his wife, May Kauilani Gallion of Kaawanui; sons, Sammy Gallion of Kentucky, Jesse Gallion of Kentucky, Dustin (Brianna) Gallion of Kentuchy, Dallas Kelley of Lihue, Keith Adams of Kaumakani, Conrad Adams of Kaumakani; daughters, May (Clyde) Kia, Jr. of Kalaheo, Trinity Adams of Kaawanui, 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; mother, Merkie Baugess of Kentucky; grandmother, Irene Penrington of Kentucky; sister, Leisha (Larry) Salyers of Kentucky; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at Garden Island Mortuary from 9 to 10:45 a.m.
Where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery.

Irene Maeda
Irene Maeda, 80 years old of Kapaa, Kauai passed away on Aug. 16, 2017, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born on Feb. 16, 1937. Irene was a retired secretary from the Hawaii Government Employees Association (HGEA).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Toshio and Fumiyo, Nagaoka; son, Darryl H. Maeda; brothers, Albert and Roy Nagaoka and sister, Nancy Sugawa.
She is survived by her husband, Hisao “Pop” Maeda; daughter, Sharyl (Doug) Lam Yuen; grandsons, Dean and Leland Lam Yuen of Kapaa; great grandson, Aiden Lam Yuen of Kihei, Mason Lam Yuen of Lihue; brother, Howard Nagaoka of Kapaa; sisters, Joan (Tommy) Tanigawa of California, Lois (Ernest) Hamada of Kalaheo; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, sister in law and brother in law.
Private services will be held at a future date. The family kindly requests no koden.

Cristeta Beleno Nacis
Cristeta Beleno Nacis of Lihue passed away in Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Aug. 19, 2017, at the age of 69. She was born in Manabo, Abra, Philippines on April 1, 1948, and retired from K Mart Jewelry Department.
Cristeta is survived by her husband, Samuel Nacis; son, Frederick Nacis of the Philippines; sisters, Tina B. Bautista, Lyn (Sanguan) Putisan; niece, Mathea Gandia; nephews, Dennis (Dorothy) Bautista, Derrick (Emelita) Bautista; grand nephews, Thomas Cruz and Jhann Cruz; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be held in the Philippines.
