KAPAA — Comedy is on tap at Trees Lounge tonight and three of the state’s top comedians will be cuing the laughs.
Andrew Joyce, Daryl Bonilla and Jose Dynamite will be locking down the stage, along with a couple of surprise acts.
Joyce’s tales revolve around his sort stature, being a fschool teacher, and moving to Hawaii from the Mainland.
Bonilla, who has been lighting up the comedy scene throughout Hawaii recently, is the former “That’s My Bank!” spokesman from the Bank of Hawaii Commercials and was the winner of the 2015 Mars Comedy Comedian of The Year Award.
Bonilla also bagged the 2016 Bacardi Iron Comic Challenge and was the recipient of the 2016 Comedy U Comedian of The Year Award.
Dynamite is a veteran comedian who was the opening act for Augie T. for nine years and spent the past four headlining his own weekly Friday night show in Oahu. He produces comedy shows across the islands.
Tickets are $20 at the door and are available at Trees Lounge. The show starts at 8 p.m.
