George Panaewa Koani
George Panaewa Koani, 80, of Waimea, passed away on Aug. 2, 2017, at Mahelona Hospital. He was born on Feb. 22, 1937, in Waimea. He was an electrician and a member of the National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry Kuana Koani, Charles K. Koani, Nathaniel Koani, Moses Koani; sister, Rebecca Mikala Kekahu; father, Waiwaiole Koani and mother, Katie Kamai.
He is survived by his brother, David Kapu Koani from Pearl City Oahu; nieces, Rowena Smith of Anahola, Rhoda Simeona of Hilo, Malina Koani of California, Napua Koan; nephews, Bully Koani of Oahu, Kapu Koani; numerous grandnieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 14, at Kauai Veteran’s Cemetery with visitation from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Services will be held from 10 to 11 a.m.
Refreshments to be held after the service from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the committal shelter.
Family requests casual ware. No monetary gifts or flowers.

Dale “Buster” Jerry Erdmann, 76 years old of Hanapepe, Kauai passed away on Aug. 4, 2017, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born on Dec. 20, 1940, in Minnesota.
He is survived by his wife, Lyndel Sugawara Edmann, sons, Randy (Ann) Erdmann, Jerry (Nancy) Erdmann, Monty (Tammy) Erdmann, Elgin (Wanelle) Erdmann, Eric (Shelby) Erdmann; daughters, Darla (Bruce) Schleusner, Shelly Lyn Erdmann; sister, Cheryl (Jerald) Larson; brother, Wayne Erdmann; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family is accepting prayers at this time.
Services will be held in Minnesota on a later date.

Richard Henry Schulz
Richard Henry Schulz of Princeville, passed at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on August 2, at the age of 91. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on Jan. 8, 1926.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Schulz; daughter, Jody (Tom) Richards; grandchildren; step-sons, Edward Thomas, Geoffrey “Sam” Thomas, Timothy Thomas and Charles Thomas.
Celebration of life will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church in Kapaa on Aug. 26, 2017, at 10 a.m.
Scattering of ashes will be held at a later date.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Schulz family with arrangements.
