Shyden Likeke Kaniala Kaneholani-Ponte
Shyden Likeke Kaniala Kaneholani-Ponte of Wailua Houselots passed away from his battle with cancer at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children on July 18, 2017, at the age of 9. He was born in Lihue on Feb. 13, 2008, and was a student at Wilcox Elementary School.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Alfred and Evelyn Reis and Herbert and Elizabeth Kaneholani.
He is survived by parents, Bryon Ponte and Shy Kaneholani-Ponte; sisters, Brittney, Bryanna and Bryancie; brothers, Shane and Shaisten; grandparents, Fred and Sharon Ponte and Daniel Kaneholani and Evangeline Reis; numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 12, at Anahola Beach Park (Hawaiian Homes side), with viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. and services celebrated at 10 a.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Moses ‘Moki’ Kahekeonapua Kaui
Moses “Moki” Kahekeonapua Kaui passed away on July 24, 2017, at Wilcox Medical Center. He was born on May 30, 1941.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Wilhemina and David Kaui; mother, Margaret; stepfather, Antone Reis and sister, Jeanette Souza.
He is survived by sisters, Charolette “Momi” McCumsey, Cherly Montoya and Gwendolyn Yancey; brothers, Antone “Tony” (Lorraine) Reis, James “Kimo” (Allyson) Reis; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Burial will be at the Keapana Valley Kaui Family Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 9 a.m., with a celebration of life to follow at Anahola Beach Park 11 a.m.
Tiffani Ann Lizama
Tiffani Ann Lizama, 51, of Kilauea, passed away on July 26, 2017, at Wilcox Medical Center. She was born on Sept. 26, 1965, in New Jersey, she was a market manager.
She is survived by husband, Alan J. Lizama; son, Corey Sugai; daughter, Shealyn Sugai; parents, John and Deanna Solek; brother, John Solek; sister, Tori (Steven) Clemmons; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Aug. 10, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary chapel in Koloa from 10 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire.
