POIPU — Kauai Economic Opportunity has been selected as RumFire Poipu Beach’s Table 53 beneficiary in August.
Net food and beverage proceeds from Table 53 at Sheraton Kauai Resort’s oceanfront restaurant are donated to a different local nonprofit organization each month, and this initiative has raised more than $185,000 toward charitable causes since its inception in 2012.
KEO is a private, nonprofit community action agency incorporated in 1965. The organization provides a range of health, social service and educational services that help to alleviate the conditions of poverty and allow disadvantaged individuals and families to attain social and economic self-sufficiency.
Table 53 is a private booth that overlooks a beautifully landscaped Ocean Courtyard, inviting fire pits and stunning sunsets.
