Duanne W. Souza Torres
Duanne W. Souza Torres of Kapaa, Kauai passed away on July 20, 2017, at the age of 73. She was born in Kilauea on November 23, 1943 and was an Environmental Service Manager at Garden Isle Heath Care then later retired.
Preceded in death by her parents, William and Virginia Souza and a brother William Leo Souza.
Duanne is survived by her brothers; Maurice (Carola) Souza of Oahu, Duane (Moana) Souza and Gareth (Wendy) of Kapaa; Sisters Maureen Bloom of California, Wilma (Richard) Boudreau of Oahu; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at St. Catherine’s Church with visitation from at 9:00 a.m. and Mass celebration at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery.

Patricia Ann Palama, 74 years old of Kalaheo, Kauai passed away on July 23, 2017, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 29, 1943, in Waimea, Kauai.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clem and Linda Reponte; siblings, Clemente Reponte, Jr., Robert Reponte and Frances Mc Guire; husband, Thomas Palama and her two children, Tanya and Kaleo Palama.
She is survived by her sons, Lance (Maureen) Palama of Kalaheo, Kimo Palama of Kalaheo, Kawila (Desiree) Palama of Kalaheo, Keola (Megan) Palama of Kalaheo; daughter, Tara Palama of Kalaheo; grandchildren, Kui (Shanelle), Kulia (Lono), Landon, Koa, Keanu (Trisha), Kaweo, Lacey, Keani (Kyle), Reign, Hekili and Kahawailai; great grandchildren, Anuhea, Aleigha, Lawakua, Keale, Lanela & Haku; sisters, Cindy (Leggie) Vinluan of Oahu, Tina Reponte of Maui; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Inurnment will be at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.

Fumie Jane Yoshimori
Fumie Jane Yoshimori, 83 years old of Koloa, Kauai passed away on June 26, 2017, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born on Jan. 5, 1934, in Lawai, Kauai she was a retired Registered Nurse.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Yoshimori; brother, John Tanabe; parents, Fusao and Ichiyo Tanabe.
She is survived by her husband, Tamotsu Yoshimori of Koloa; sons, Stan (Arleen) Yoshimori of Puhi, Guy (Adele) Yoshimori of Koloa; grandchildren, Stacia Viloria, Ryan Viloria, Stanton (Ashley) Yoshimori, Tammie Jane Yoshimori and Mason Yoshimori; great grandchildren, Kobe Viloria, Taj Yoshimori, Rysen Coyamin, Emi Rose Yoshimori and Saesha Coyamin; sister, Barbara (Francis) Inafuku of Texas, Jessie (Frank) Ginoza of Oahu; sister-in-law, June Tanabe of Oahu; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held.

Claradeen ‘Deenie’ Fu-McDermott
Claradeen “Deenie” Momilani Fu-McDermott of Kapaa passed away on June 8, 2017, at the age of 60. She was born in Wailua, Kauai on Sept. 2, 1956, and retired as a hostess at the St. Regis Hotel.
Preceded in death by her husband, Kevin McDermott; daughter, Maile Mokihana Fu; parents, Clara Lihau and Edwin Kwai Meng Fu Sr.; sister, Charleen “ShaSha” Fu Kinney; brother, Wendall “Jumbo” Fu; sister-in-law, Aleta Blackstad Fu and brother-in-law, Thomas “Pee-Wee” Giltner.
Deenie is survived by her brother, Edwin Kwai Meng Fu Jr.; sisters, Edleen Kaui, Helena Giltner and Marleen (Greg) Fu-Goodwin; sister-in-law, Joanna Fu; brother-in-law, William “Blue” Kinney; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Flowers are welcomed. Casual attire suggested.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on July 30, 2017, at the Hanalei Valley Cemetery, Kauai.
