Westside Basketball split its series Tuesday during the summer youth basketball league games at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
Tavina Harris, the low post target for the Westside A fifth grade girls division team, finished with 10 points in a 21-13 loss to the Kauai Lynx who were led by Jazlyn Phillips with netting 11 points.
The second game saw the Westside boys fifth grade division team take a 26-17 win over the Lihue Lakers behind 10 points from Giovanni Skousen and eight points from Josiah Delos Reyes.
Bryan Brown topped the Lakers’ effort with six points.
Four games are on tap Saturday at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center starting at 8 a.m. when the Kauai Lynx, fifth grade division girls, tip-off against Westside B. Na Koa, eighth grade division boys tip off against Isle Hoops in a 9 a.m. playoff match.
Na Koa, fifth grade division boys, go up against the Warriors in a 10 a.m. game. Na Koa, sixth grade division boys, close the day with an 11 a.m. contest against the Laker Gold.
