LIHUE — Kauai Island Utility Cooperative members are invited to attend the cooperative’s 15th annual meeting on Thursday at Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall auditorium. Doors open at 5 p.m., with entertainment provided by the Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning musical group Kupaoa. The meeting will start at 6 p.m.
“This is our opportunity to share with our members what has transpired over the past year and what we can look forward to, while receiving questions and feedback from them as well,” said KIUC President David Bissell.
KIUC staff and members of the Board of Directors will be available to speak with members before and after the meeting.
Attendees will receive a copy of KIUC’s 2016 Annual Report. The first 250 attendees will also receive a ticket for a free bag of rice, which will be distributed at the end of the meeting. Chili and rice will be served after the presentation.
