A patron to The Lion King Jr. presented by the Summer Stars said to look for the mouse who was making a debut with a cameo role.
The Lion King Jr., based on the Broadway production directed by Julie Taymor, and the book by Roger Allers and Irene Mecchi was presented over the weekend, directed and choreographed by Rebecca Hanson.
Hanson said the production involved the largest cast being transformed into a horde of animals from the African savanna having to learn to master their roles in Swahili and training to move like African animals in just five weeks.
Proceeds from the three shows presented benefit the Hawaii Children’s Theater.
