Linda May Louis Kanahele, 54, of Hanapepe, passed away on July 13, 2017, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital.
She as born on Nov. 11, 1962, on Kauai.
She is survived by husband Danny Kanahele Sr., sons Evan (Renee) Louis, Danny (Taryn) Kanahele Jr. and Kaleb Kaiwi, daughters Caryn (Tony) Bernaldes, Kacee (Kawena) Kanahele, Dannlyn (Chelsie) Kanahele, Lacey (Roland) Kanahele, Jada Bernaldes and Felecia Bernaldes, brother Jerry (Reiko) Louis Jr., sisters Jerrylyn (George) Gregory, Monica (Angel) Louis-Alyvilla, Aloha (Charlie) Kaliloa and Lorna Brun, mother Marilyn Pacheco Louis, father Jerry (Sheila) Louis Sr., 13 grandchildren and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Borthwick Kauai Mortuary chapel in Koloa from 10 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m.
Borthwick Kauai Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Clarence Y. Ishida Sr.
Clarence Y. Ishida Sr. of Kapaa passed away at Garden Island Health Care on June 10, 2017. at the age of 91.
He was sole proprietor of a grocery store,
He was preceded in death by parents Sinichi and Chiyo Ishida and wife Hanako Ishida.
He is survived by daughter Charlene Quinones, sons Clarence (Jan) Ishida Jr. and Clyde Ishida, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.
Arrangements were handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Koloa.
Barbara J. Matteo
Barbara J. Matteo of Kapaa, formerly of Haleiwa, Oahu, passed away on July 8, 2017 at the age of 68.
Born in Anaheim, California, on Jan. 18, 1949, she was an escrow manager.
She was preceded in death by mother Alice Lavoi.
She is survived by husband Stephen Matteo, and sons Mark (Eleanore) Matteo, Scott Matteo, Gage Matteo and Max Matteo.
Her celebration of life was private.
