Confused by hate-filled attack on Hooser
I had to re-read Gary Hooser’s article,”When bold ideas collide with status quo,” regarding affordable housing. Nowhere did I find hysteria, hate, rage or president bashing.
What was Mr. Dreisch talking about? Mr. Dreisch, on the other hand, sounded very full of hate. What causes people to lash out like that? Especially at an outstanding citizen like Gary Hooser who was trying to help people in our community.
From the childish wording to the inflammatory accusations, I don’t get it. I feel like Mr. Dreisch needs some serious help because he sounds like a very unstable person.

Free speech is fine; childish diatribes are not
There should be no place in the Forum for the childish diatribe (TGI, July 15) by Mr. Dreisch in response to a thoughtful letterfrom former Councilmember Gary Hooser. Yes, I’m for free speech, but keep it civil and mature if you want to share with andinfluence your fellow citizens.
To the Garden Island: Please show a little more editorial discretion in what you allow in the Forum.
