Vivencio Cruz Gabini
Vivencio Cruz Gabini, 83, passed away on June 11, 2017, at Garden Island Health Care.
Born on July 3, 1933, in the Philippines, he was a retired tailor.
He is survived by wife Eslefania Gabini of Eleele, sons Carlito (Charina) Gabini of Philippines and Sonny (Liza) Gabini of the Big Island, daughters Corazon (Gilbert) Guillermo of Eleele and Flory May (Rhoderick) Martin of the Philippines, nine grandchildren, sister Juana (Greg) Rafael of California and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, July 22, at Garden Island Mortuary in Lawai, from 9 to 9:45 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Hanapepe Public Cemetery. The family suggests casual attire.
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Nancy Lee Bunyan
Nancy Lee Bunyan passed away on June 27, 2017, at Kauai Care Center in Waimea. She was born March 18, 1925, in Beverly, Massachusetts.
She was preceded in death by husband Gerald W. Bunyan, parents Harvey and Nema (Tower) Watkins, and sister Bernetta Watkins.
She is survived by stepdaughter Wyanne Bunyan of Kauai and stepson Gerry Mikesell of Temecula, California.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 20, at 5 p.m. at Lihue United Church.
Puanani Arruda
Puanani Arruda, 87, of Kapaa, passed away at her home on July 2, 2017. Born on Sept. 21, 1929 on Kauai, she was a retired flight attendant for Hawaiian Airlines.
She was preceded in death by husband Clarence Arruda and son Mark Arruda.
She is survived by son Marvin (Gayle) Arruda of Washington, daughters Puanani Merryjoy Arruda of Waimea, Napualani (Kaipo) Vidinha-Arruda of Kapaa and Kuulei (Matthan) Uelese, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services were held.
Arrangements were handled by Garden Island Mortuary.
