Road closures for Concert in the Sky
LIHUE — The 28th annual Kauai Hospice “Concert in the Sky” is scheduled from 4 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Vidinha Stadium soccer fields in Lihue.
The Kauai Police Department will close off Kauai Veterans Memorial Highway from Ahukini Road to Rice Street, then from Rice Street to Kauai Veterans Memorial Highway through Hoolako Street, for the duration of the fireworks show scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m.
When the fireworks show ends, officers will be directing traffic out of the stadium parking lot.
During this time, Kauai Veterans Memorial Highway will be northbound only from Kaana Street and southbound only from Halau Street. Hoolako Street will be southbound only, from Vidinha Stadium to Rice Street. No left turns will be allowed from Kapule Highway onto Kuhio Highway at the Hanamaulu junction.
